Several staffers of Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, who is expected to announced her candidacy for the 2020 presidential race shortly, have complained to leftwing publication the Huffington post about the ‘cruel and mean’ demeanor which she shows off-camera.

The timing of the leak, and the publication that was chosen to launch it, is surprising.

The laid-back midwestern woman is now described by her own former staff, who all testified in exhange for anonimity, as a very harsh and extremely demanding boss who would publicly embarrass people and use her aides to perform personal tasks such as washing dishes at her home or picking up her dry cleaning.

There was even a staffer who claimed that the Senator would very childishly would write ‘tardy slips to staffers who came to the office late.’

Seeing the reports pop up, the Senator’s office put out a statement, saying : ‘Senator Klobuchar loves her staff – they are the reason she has gotten to where she is today.’

‘She has many staff who have been with her for years – including her Chief of Staff and her State Director, who have worked for her for 5 and 7 years respectively – and many who have gone on to do amazing things, from working in the Obama Administration (over 20 of them) to running for office to even serving as the Agriculture Commissioner for Minnesota. She is proud of them and the work they have done for Minnesota.’
