British Girl Refused On Flight For ‘Inappropriate Attire’

Put on more clothes or get off the plane, that was the choice given to young Emily O’Connor when she tried to board a Thomas Cook airplane flying from Birmingham to Tenerife.

The story has been shared some 10,000 times by now as Europe’s biggest clothes retailer, Spanish chain Zara, sells the top that caused the flight attendant to refuse Emily and thus girls are asking: Is this too much?

Emily stated: ‘Flying from Birmingham to Tenerife, Thomas Cook told me that they were going to remove me from the flight if I didn’t “cover up” as I was “causing offence” and was “inappropriate”. They had 4 flight staff around me to get my luggage to take me off the plane.’

The young girl received a lot of support as well, even from other people who work on flights, claiming that Thomas Cook clearly made a mistake there as a top like that is perfectly acceptable. Others said that it could indeed be ‘distracting.’
