A British influencer has testified about how she invariably opts for a seat in business during long flights, while her children fly economy with her husband, and she says she has a good reason for that: “We have a beautiful life, but I want my children to know the value of money and the importance of hard work,” explained 40-year-old Naomi Kisted.

Influencer Naomi Isted from Epping – north-east of London – clearly thinks differently when it comes to the education of her children. Fleur (9) and Rocco (3) are also lucky enough to grow up in a privileged environment – their mother leads a glamorous life as a presenter, blogger and publisher and has nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram – but she thinks they get it for a good reason.

“If a customer books us a flight in economy and I have the opportunity to upgrade to business or first class, I like to do that. Even if I have to pay extra for that myself.”

That her husband and children are lagging behind in the economy is something the blogger – who specializes in fashion and luxury travel – does not feel guilty about. “We have a very beautiful life, but I want my children to know the value of money and the importance of hard work,” she continues. “By the way, they are just too young to value first class.”

“It wasn’t offered to me as a child or as a teenager on a saucer. I have worked for everything I have now. “

Despite the fact that she is very busy, Kisted tries to be there for her children. “Anyway, my work gives them opportunities that others don’t get,” she says. “And behind the scenes of my public life I give as much love as possible. Despite my hectic schedule, for example, I will always make time to watch Fleur’s sports competitions at school. I’m here for them. But I also want to teach them to be grateful. It all starts with that. “
