Morrisville residents Dominique Decree and her daughter Shana, who brutally slaughtered five of their own family members last month, had apparently become part of “some type of cult” with which “materialized online.”
Dominique’s ex-husband, Damon Decree Sr., explained this in an interview with WTVD last month “They were talking about demons being all around them.”
“I know one of the suspects is my daughter and my wife. They killed my son. If they did that, I don’t want to see them in no insane asylum. I want to see them in jail for the rest of their lives.”
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office officially released the causes of death yesterday.
The oldest victim, 42-year-old Jamillah Campbell was strangled while all the others were asphyxiated.
However, police report that they do not believe the ‘demon cult’ hypothesis, with Deputy District Attorney Christopher Rees declaring that: “the investigation into these murders continues with one goal: justice for five people killed in Bucks County.”
“We are committed to seeking justice for Erika, Imani, Damon, Naa’Irah and Jamilla. We recognize that the public is very interested in this story and we are grateful for the community’s support. In deference to this overwhelming tragedy, we ask that everyone respect the families’ privacy as they continue to mourn their loved ones.”
Thus far, the reason for the murder spree remains a mystery.
