According to one of the private investigators hired to find out exactly who hacked into the phone owned by the world’s richest man, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, an interesting development occurred.
In order to find out exactly who spied on Mr Bezos and sold pictures and texts of his extra-marital affair to the ‘National Enquirer,’ and unexpected third party has turned up.
Mr Gavin de Becker, hired to investigate, claimed in an article which appeared in the Daily Beast, that none other than the government of Saudi Arabia was found to be spying on Mr Bezos.
The fact that they did this has nothing to do with Mr Bezos’ extramarital affair though, but everything to do with the fact that he owns The Washington Post, the newspaper for which the late Jamal Khashoggi used to write.
“Some Americans will be surprised to learn that the Saudi government has been very intent on harming Jeff Bezos since last October, when the Post began its relentless coverage of Khashoggi’s murder,” Mr de Becker said.
“It’s clear that MBS (Mohamed Bin Salman) considers the Washington Post to be a major enemy.”
