This is the moment a 14-year-old boy from a rival Medellin drug cartel lures out two gang members from a nightclub, gets padded on the back by one of them, then turns around as he seems to be walking away, and shoots both of them.
The young boy has by now been arrested and is suspected of having carried out no less than 10 ‘hits’ for the cartel. 8 of those have already been confirmed.
The victims are said to be Dario Alexis Atehortua Guzman, 43, and Mateo Cuesta Prieto, 20.
The young boy, wearing a grey Oakley shirt, can be seen shooting the 43-year-old man multiple times. Police confirmed the known gang member died on the spot while the 20-year-old died from his wounds on the way to hospital.
The boy takes aim and fires at the man in the black shirt who flees off-camera as well as another man at the bottom of the screen. He then also fires at a third person before turning and fleeing.
It is assumed that the boy pretended to be 13 (the age of criminal responsibility in Colombia is 14) and used his younger brother’s identity card to evade prosecution.
Attorney General Mr Néstor Humberto Martínez, said the boy is accused of 10 other homicides and that this year 600 children have been arrested for various crimes, according to Peruvian newspaper El Comercio.
