New York Teacher Sues For $3 Million Over ‘Topless Selfie’ (Video)

A New York teacher was fired in early 2019 because an old photo on which she is topless was suddenly brought into class by a student. The woman, who was about to receive tenure, was immediately dismissed because her “position had become untenable”.

But Ms Lauren Miranda thinks she has been wrongfully terminated. With the help of her lawyer, she demands her job back or a compensation of three million dollars.

She also thinks she is being discriminated against: “If the nipples of a male teacher were visible, no punishment would follow.”
