French police has arrested two brothers for the nail bomb attack in Lyon this weekend. The incident, which French President Macron admitted was an ‘attack,’ left 14 people injured.
“A suspect has been arrested,” French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner, wrote on Twitter. He later said a second man had been detained.
Twitterers revealed that the first man, the suspected bomber, was a 24-year-old of Algerian descent. His 17-year-old younger brother, who’s still in school, was also arrested.
Police had earlier described the suspect as a ‘European or North African male in his early 30s’ saying that he had fled the scene on a mountain bike.
