In her biography “Winning or Learning” Noa described at the age of 16 that life was no longer meaningful for her. She suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and anorexia for years. She tried to survive despite her psychological problems, but that was no longer possible. In the book, Noa described that she had been assaulted and raped at a young age.
